A HUNDRED LITTLE FLAMES BY PREETY SHENOY | THE BOOK REVIEW

A HUNDRED LITTLE FLAMES BY PREETY SHENOY | THE BOOK REVIEW

There are many novels out there but this was hit me and suprised me. Personally, I don't believe such never ending love stories because people forget easily and most importantly they move on. No one can stick with their past for long time. I don't think that people have had such life long love story. The main reason why I say like this because I never received true love in my life. But people are there they have, they had love in their heart till their last breath. Hopefully looking forward to receive pure love life.

Back to the story this is one of the best novel written by Preeti Shenoy. Personally I love this novel and I'm giving five star also. Let's move to the review..

   What you can expect ?

It has beautiful love story which happening across generations. Ayan is the central character who lost his current job so that he had to came his home town which is located in Kerala. Readers can expect such natural description for sure. His grandfather's conversation intrigued him because his grandfather often used some unknown names and some related stories. He talk about this to servent Velu but he doesn't know any incidents what Gopal was said to Ayan. Ayan confused and considered to call his father. But his father was very curious about this topic. After few days his father came and join his grandfather to mental hospital. What he did to bring back his grandfather to home is part of the story. Diary writing is part of this story. The diary of Gopal reveals everything.

Apart from that who is Rohini why Gopal often talked about her. Is she his lover of his past?.. Did they meet after that?

Preeti Shenoy has beautifully portrayed the difference between old and new generation feelings for love. The love and friendship has described wonderfully. The feeling and the love for the specific person doesn't change in life time. The longing for love still in their hearts. Memories never fade which is the best example of this novel. MEMORIES NEVER FADE. Nothing is permanent but the love still there.  Rohini and Gopal's love and friendship have been across generations. Love doesn't change even if they getting old. Last part of the book changed me!
