Jasmine Days which is a novel written by Benyamin and translated by Shahanaz Habib. It is a malayalam novel in originally. This book have got a winner of JCB book prize and the crossword translation award. All of us know about migrate peoples and their struggles, how they manage all of their respective plans. But we know only the perspective of stranger that analysed them. In this novel we had the entire experience of migrate peoples and their struggles on the other countries. After you read this novel you find the answers and reasons of all the riots and protests.

The story is about Sameera Parvin who is the protogonist of this novel. She moves to an unnamed middle eastern city to live with her father to their relative house. She is a good speaker and she thrives in her job as a Radio Jockey. When it comes to home she is the darling of the family. But when the revolution breaks out in the country she lost her happiness and her life fall down.
Sameera Parvin is a Pakistani works as a RJ in Orange Radio. She loves the new country which they migrated from Pakistan. She loved her work heart fully. She have been friendly with Ali who is one of the persons in String Walkers. String Walkers are nothing but the group of people who get together with their musical instruments to sing a song for the entertainment. She joined the group and enjoyed the presence of happiness.
Sameera and Ali are friends but she didn't know much about him and his past. Ali is the another main character of this novel. He is always stick with his belief. Basically, he is one of the Hizbullahs in the country. He is a person who against His Majesty that's why he got many struggle in his life. After knew that Ali is a Hizbullah, Sameera wanted to know about his past.
This novel explained all of the religious diversity in the same religion. They also divided themselves from other kind of name that people had in the same religion. In this novel author mentioned that Sunnis and Shias that religious diversity in Islamic religion.
One person who don't like to be involved in kind of religious stuff but the fate they need to cross all over the stuffs in their life that made them down and aborted all their dreams. Sameera had experienced all the struggles when she migrated from Pakistan. The revolutionary movement change peoples life. This novel is the must read to everyone.
The clutter between People and Government is the main causes of Revolution and protests. How friends become enemies? and how people turned over government? And Is she forgive her friend?
Best novel to read, author perfectly described all the situations that have acquired in the country.
