                One Night@ The Call Center is written by Chetan Bhagat who is a popular English writer in India. It is a second novel of him after his first famous novel which is Five Point Someone. There are many people contradiction with his writing and avoid reading his novels as well. I heard a lot about criticism upon his writing. I read few books by him that they are 2 States, Three Mistakes In My Life, Half Girl Friend. After a long gap, I start reading his  second novel due to the syllabus of my post graduation in Literature.

             Personally, I like this novel but not loved it much. Some situations provoking my thoughts while reading. Obviously, it's very beginner friendly book to everyone. I love the way he beginning this novel that was he requested to answer some simple question to everyone before start reading. That's thought provoking idea if you ask me.

The story is about five Call Center working people whose named Shayam, Vroom, Priyanka, Estha, Rathika and Military Uncle.  Bakshi who is the head of connexions call center in Gurgaon. He is the boss to Shyam who is a leader of his WASG which means kind of name suited his group.

            Shyam is the central protogonist of this novel who tried work hardly to get the promotion. His life made him feel down because he has broken with Priyanka who had been his girlfriend for a long time. This story happened in only one night that was the night shift. They were getting late as usual to reach the office. They were doing their work normally. Shyam only the person getting frustrated by pressure under the Bakshi's torture.

         As I said before it's easy to read and beginner friendly. It contains the 38 chapter and past date with Priyanka which hold on five content. The past dates with Priyanka is that Shayam's falsh back who thought about lovable memories with her. The story is about what happened in that night in the connexions. 'The call from the God' how intrigued?. Yeah, the call from the God and how they faced everything which they have to cross. After the call, how they felt about that and how it changed one persons perception is the remaining story. They planed to give a lesson to Bakshi for the bad boss. And they did it perfectly. But how they execute all their plan is just good. Eventually, Vroom is the hero of the novel and he takes the challenge which was that to save the call centers in India. His idea is really appreciated and soothing. In the every aspect of their plan was just wonderful. 

               All I want to say is that this book is nice to read and anyone can pick this book. My personal view is may be right or wrong but it is not that much good to read. Actually, I don't know reason that why this book has a place in Literature. Because I have it as my syllabus. It doesn't has fast pace , first half of the book is very slow pace but another half of the story must be fast pace if you ask me.
